Catcher in the Rye - Draw it again!

porsheee has been drawing like crazy recently and it has 1. reminded me of all the things that are wrong with my drawings, and 2. inspired me to color with color pencil (with my 24 color Crayola set bought from the local supermarket). So I did a very 'quick' redraw of Holden Caulfield from the cover of my 11th grade English Honors Catcher in the Rye project.

<sub>I can't remember when this project was due, but I know that it was assigned before Valentine's Day because our project was formatted as giant folded card with a secret panel. Using the same method, I made a (smaller) Valentine's Day card for the guy whom I'd had a crush on for years; I wrote him a love letter in the secret panel.

The week after, I gave him a translation of said love letter because I wrote it in French and he didn't take French. LOL</sub>

I tried outlining with purple since the colored pencil wipes out the pencil, but I don't think it really worked.
